Water Tower by Rachel Whiteread

In Water Tower, a 1998 installation in SoHo, New York [courtesy of Luhring Augustine and The Public Art Fund], artist Rachel Whiteread fills a characteristic New York water tower with transparent resin cast and then removes the tower.

A hitherto impossible experience of the inside-the-tower-space is offered.
